The Book Worm
In this book, since it’s early in the series, I’ve made some changes. The girls aren’t just friends, they’re cousins. This leads to some family ancestry about the gifts they have and are uncovering and makes more sense that their bloodline is the reason for this mysterious gifts.
Blurb:
When three cousins—Peggy, Marnie, and Arlene—inherit their grandparents’ eccentric home, they uncover a treasure trove of secrets buried among the books and heirlooms. Among the dusty shelves, they find their grandfather’s journal—a cryptic guide leading to an ancient, elusive artifact known as the Enochian Grimoire. The journal warns of betrayal, greed, and danger tied to the book’s power.
As the cousins delve into the mystery, strangers arrive in their small town with questions no one should be asking. When a woman searching for the Grimoire is found dead under suspicious circumstances, the cousins find themselves at the center of a dark conspiracy. Someone—or something—will stop at nothing to claim the Grimoire, and the more they uncover, the more they wonder if some secrets should remain buried.
With their family’s legacy on the line and danger closing in, the cousins must decipher the journal’s clues and decide whether to risk unearthing the Grimoire or let it disappear forever. But trust is fragile, and the sleepy town of Black-Briar may be hiding more threats than they realize.
The Book Worm blends a cozy mystery with a gothic twist, where family secrets, a quaint small-town setting, and chilling discoveries collide in a tale of suspense and intrigue.
